Brandon Veasey visited the San Diego Zoo in August of 2024 to investigate why SDZ is regarded as one of the best zoos in the world. The answer? It’s because of the magnificent donkey exhibit as shown in the photo above. Typically, you wouldn’t expect to see a donkey in a zoo, right? Well, SDZ has thrown conventional zoo wisdom—or zoology—out the window and taken the zoo scene mainstream with the addition of the greatest farm animal of all time, the jackass!
